1 Dead, 1 Hurt After Garbage Truck Hits Motorcycle In Jamaica
A man died after his motorcycle crashed into a private garbage truck in Jamaica early Tuesday.

JAMAICA, QUEENS — A man died after his motorcycle collided with a private garbage truck in Jamaica early Tuesday.
Two men were riding a 1986 Honda motorcycle along Liberty Avenue by 157th Street just after 1 a.m. when the garbage truck hit them as the driver was backing up, according to police.
First responders rushed the men to Jamaica Hospital, where one of the men was pronounced dead, police said. Authorities did not immediately identify the 30-year-old man.

The other man, a 23 year old, was in stable condition.
The garbage truck's driver suffered no injuries and stayed at the crash scene.
