ST. ALBANS, QUEENS — 10 people are hurt after a driver rammed into a pole in St. Albans Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

A van driver crashed into a pole at the corner of Farmers and Linden Boulevards shortly after 2 p.m., injuring 10 people, an FDNY spokesman said.

Emergency responders brought six victims to Jamaica Hospital, three to Queens Hospital Center and one to North Shore University Hospital, the spokesman said.
