QUEENS, NY — A man who died after being attacked in a Queens park on Tuesday has been identified, police said on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Christopher Brooks, 53. Officers found him with trauma to the head inside Rufus King Park in Jamaica on Tuesday.
Brooks was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to reports, the man may have been hit with a 2-by-4 during a fight.
There have been no arrests and an investigation remains ongoing.
