Gallons of gas spilled onto a St. Albans street after a van and a fuel truck collided Thursday.

ST. ALBANS, QUEENS — Gallons of gas spilled onto a Queens street after a van and a fuel truck collided Thursday, officials said.
A fuel truck and a blue van crashed into each other about 12:37 p.m. by Merrick Boulevard and 109th Road in St. Albans, spilling about 25 gallons of gas, according to the FDNY.
The FDNY Hazmat squad responded to the scene to deal with the leak, a spokesman for the Fire Department said. There were no injuries.
