Duo Pleads Guilty to Sex Trafficking Women As Young As 15: DA

A Queens man and his accomplice were charged with pimping out young women starting in 2013, according to the Queens DA.

SOUTH JAMAICA, QUEENS — A South Jamaica duo pleaded guilty to sex trafficking for pimping out young women, the Queens district attorney's office said Friday.

Terrance "Staxx" Jackman, 37, pleaded guilty to two counts of sex trafficking. His accomplice, Zulay "Mocca" Guerrero, 36, pleaded guilty to felony charges of promoting prostitution and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Jackman, of Nellis St. in Springfield Gardens, faces up to 12 years imprisonment. Guerrero, of 106th Ave. in St. Albans, faces up to four years in prison.

From 2013 to 2017, Jackman and Guerrero forced two women to trade sex for cash and turn over the money they made to Jackman, according to the DA's office. The two women were 15 and 23 years old at the time, according to court records.

Jackman met one of the women at a nightclub in June 2017 and offered to drive her home, according to the charges. Instead, he told her she would work for him as a prostitute, and he and Guerrero posted pictures of her on Backpage to advertise her as a sex worker, the charges say. The woman escaped after she was brought to a stranger to have sex with him for money, and she told the man she had been kidnapped. The woman then called 911 to say a pimp had kidnapped her, according to the charges.
