JAMAICA, QUEENS — A Queens man was found guilty of a felony gun charge for shooting at his neighbor on Christmas, prosecutors said.

A judge convicted Jamaica resident Charles Murphy, 30, of criminal weapon possession for the shooting on Christmas day in 2017, the Queens DA's office announced Monday. Murphy faces five to 15 years in prison.

Murphy had an argument outside his Waltham St. home that afternoon with a 19-year-old neighbor, according to trial testimony. Murphy went inside his home, then emerged moments later with a gun, which he fired three times in the neighbor's direction, according to the testimony.
