JAMAICA, QUEENS — A Queens NYPD officer was arrested Friday on murder-for-hire charges.

Valerie Cincinelli, 34, was arrested by the FBI after trying to get her boyfriend to hire a hitman to kill her estranged husband and the boyfriend's young daughter.

Cincinelli paid the boyfriend $7,000 for the killings, after he said he knew someone who could carry out the murders, according to court records.

An FBI agent posing as the hitman texted Cincinelli's boyfriend a photo of her estranged husband appearing dead in his car and a demand for an additional $3,000 to kill the young girl, according to court records. Cincinelli then asked the boyfriend to delete the photo and texts to avoid law enforcement scrutiny.

Cincinelli worked for the NYPD's 106th Precinct, which covers South Central Queens, NBC New York reported. She then moved to the Viper Unit, monitoring cameras in public housing, according to a police source.
