Two Jamaica Drive-By Shootings Leave One Dead, One Hurt: NYPD
There have been two drive-by shootings on Guy R Brewer Boulevard in Jamaica within the last three days, according to police.
JAMAICA, QUEENS — Two drive-by shootings on the same Jamaica street left one man dead and another injured, police said.
A 44-year-old man in a black sedan was shot in the thigh about 8:30 a.m. Monday by the intersection of Guy R Brewer and Linden Boulevards, police said. He went to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The drive-by shooting comes just two days after a similar incident several blocks north. A 48-year-old man was shot dead in the passenger seat of a black Nissan Maxima the morning of April 13 on Guy R Brewer Boulevard between 108th and 109th Avenues, according to police.

There are no arrests in connection with the two shootings, and it is unclear whether the incidents are directly related. Police have not yet released the identities of the two victims.
