• Riverhead awards $328K HVAC contract, advances sewer projects (riverheadlocal.com) — Riverhead officials have approved a $328,000 contract to replace the aging HVAC system at the George Young Community Center in Jamesport, with work expected to finish within 90 days of the start notice. The board also moved ahead on major sewer financing, extended sewer service to a proposed cannabis dispensary, and authorized legal action over alleged code violations at a Bayside Avenue property in Jamesport, alongside several other townwide policy and grant decisions.
