The suspect now faces a felony criminal contempt charge and is being held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
3. Brocton Man Charged After Alleged Vehicle Theft in Jamestown (wnynewsnow.com) — Jamestown police say a Brocton man was arrested after a wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at the Riverwalk Center and recovered near St. Susan Center. Governor Hochul Announces $10 Million in NYPA Funding to Support Advanced Nuclear Workforce Development Programs Across New York State (ny.gov) — Jamestown Community College will receive about $1.29 million to launch new nuclear-focused manufacturing and welding training programs, creating local pathways into advanced energy careers. The funding is part of a $10 million statewide NYPA initiative to build New York's nuclear workforce, with courses integrating nuclear content into welding, mechatronics, and engineering programs plus added career services.
