KINGS PARK, NY — A national construction equipment rental company celebrated its new Kings Park location Thursday at 200 Townline Road in Kings Park with plans that could bring up to 50 jobs and as much as $70 million in investment to the area.

EquipmentShare held a beam-signing ceremony Oct. 22 at its new eight-acre Core Solutions branch, joined by local and state officials, the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce, the Long Island Contractors' Association (LICA) and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

The company projects the facility could create 25 to 50 jobs and generate between $35 million and $70 million in investment, including equipment, capital improvements and salaries.

The Kings Park branch will be EquipmentShare's first location serving the Long Island and New York City metropolitan markets and its third location in New York State.

"We are excited to welcome EquipmentShare to Kings Park as they stand up this state-of-the-art facility," said Diane Motherway, executive director of the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce. "Our community sits at the heart of key commercial and infrastructure developments across Suffolk County. Having a technology-driven equipment leader like EquipmentShare in our backyard gives our local builders a distinct advantage while contributing to the long-term vitality of our regional economy."

The facility is designed to serve contractors working on major infrastructure projects, including highway and bridge improvements, coastal resiliency initiatives, water and utility upgrades, renewable energy projects and residential and commercial developments.

EquipmentShare provides construction equipment rentals supported by its proprietary T3 technology platform, which allows contractors to monitor equipment locations, maintenance needs, usage and security.

The technology also features individual access codes and equipment monitoring tools intended to reduce downtime and improve jobsite safety.

"Long Island's heavy construction and infrastructure sector is undergoing a transformative period of growth. Our members face tight deadlines and complex environmental demands every day," said Marc Herbst, executive director of LICA.

As part of Thursday's celebration, EquipmentShare and LICA presented a joint $5,000 donation to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports injured veterans, fallen first responders and their families.

"Partnerships like this directly empower us to carry out our mission: providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and providing critical wrap-around services for our military community," said Gregg Johanssen, a Tunnel to Towers Foundation ambassador and EquipmentShare safety manager.

EquipmentShare, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, operated more than 430 locations nationwide as of June 30, 2026, and aims to expand to 700 locations by 2030.
