Armed Man Robs Hauppauge 7-Eleven
A store clerk suffered a minor injury during robbery early Monday morning, police say.

A clerk at a Hauppauge 7-Eleven was treated at the hospital for a minor injury sustained when a gunman robbed the convenience store early Monday morning, police said.
According to police, a man entered the 7-Eleven located at 722 Townline Road at about 1:50 a.m., displayed what appeared to be a gun and demanded cash. The clerk gave the man cash from the drawer and the suspect fled on foot westbound on Townline Road, police said.
The robber was described as about 6-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a mask, a black hooded-sweatshirt, black pants and sunglasses. The clerk was treated and released from Stony Brook University Hospital.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
