Celebrate Halloween at Smith Haven Mall

Smith Haven Mall will offer local children a safe and fun place to take part in Halloween activities this month.

Simon Kidgits Club® presents its annual Kidgits Boo Bash on Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m in Center Court. It is open to members of the Simon Kidgits Club. Guests can join Kidgits in advance online at simon.com/kidgits/ or visit Simon Guest Services at Smith Haven Mall located at Center Court.

Families are also invited to Smith Haven Mall for its Safe Trick-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. Costumed children can visit participating mall retailers, identified with an orange pumpkin in its windows, who will give out treats (while supplies last). And, families will have an opportunity to preserve the memory of the holiday with Halloween photos, taking place from 12 to 5 p.m. in Center Court. Visit Simon Guest Services for discount coupons that can be applied to photo packages.

At Kidgits Boo Bash, children can participate in an afternoon of crafts, activities and giveaways. There will be a make your own safe trick-or-treat reflector necklace, make a ghost and decorate a pumpkin activities, along with a goody bag to take home. Centereach Fire Department, Capital One and Macaroni Kid will all be on-site and attendees can enjoy food samples courtesy of California Pizza Kitchen, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Mosiac Turkish Grill, Teavana and Auntie Anne’s.

The Simon Kidgits Club is a fun and informative program that focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages 3-8.
