Crime Report: Driver Over the Legal Limit on Main Street

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions.

Edward Ernest Matovich, Jr., 51, of Kings Park, was arrested May 19 in Kings Park and charged with criminal contempt.

Christy Monforte, 36, of Kings Park, was arrested May 19 in Smithtown and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08 of 1 percent. Monforte was observed at 11:30 p.m. driving a 2006 Pontiac on Main Street.
