Crimes Nearby: E. Northport Woman Drives Into Tree, Charged With DWI

The Suffolk County and New York State Police Department reported the following arrests.
Three Village
Michael McLoughlin, 21, was arrested July 10 at 10 p.m. at a residence on Stalker Lane in East Setauket on a New York State parole warrant. No further information was available.
Daniel Bender, 39, was arrested July 11 at 2:30 p.m. and charged with petty larceny. Bender allegedly took 20 cases of Enfamil baby formula from Stop & Shop in South Setauket on July 4.
On July 13, an individual at a business located on Gnarled Hollow Road in Setauket called to report a stolen laptop. The incident is being investigated as grand larceny. According to police reports, the theft happened sometime between 4 p.m. on July 10 and 8 a.m. on July 11.

Miller Place-Rocky Point
Thomas Gonzalez, 39, of Sound Beach, was arrested July 9 and charged with grand larceny (property value greater than $1,000). Gonzalez allegedly stole money from his employer, United Chimney Corporation.
Patsy Bellomo, 54, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested July 8 and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury. Bellomo allegedly punched someone in the face on 25A in Rocky Point.
Michael O'Connell, 35, fo Rocky Point, was arrested July 7 and charged with first-offense DWI. Police said O'Connell drove 75 mph in a 35 mph zone and ran a red light. He appeared to be intoxicated when stopped, according to police.

Commack
Michael Stroman, 30, of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on July 13. Police said, Stroman was caught stealing a saw blade from a store at 10 a.m. on Crooked Hill Road in Commack.
Christina Malo, 21, of Holbrook, was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment on July 13. According to police, Malo was arrested on Jericho Turnpike in Commack for grabbing another female’s shoulders and pushing her to the ground.
Rachel Dreher, 35, of East Northport, was arrested for first-offense DWI charges on July 11. Police said that Dreher was at 11:30 p.m. in her 2006 Acura, where she crashed into a parked car and continued driving where she crossed over to the wrong side of the road and hit a tree.
Smithtown
Eric Moore, 26, of Smithtown, was arrested with first offense DWI charges on July 13. According to police, Moore was driving towards the intersection of River Avenue and West Main Street in Patchogue on his 2007 Ducati and drove through the red light.
Andre Machate, 41, of Smithtown, was arrested and charged with carrying a criminal weapon on him on July 12. Machate was on Lake Avenue in St. James when he was arrested for possessing a weapon, police said. He was charged because of his previous conviction against him, which doesn’t allow him to carry weapons, police said.
A 17-year-old Smithtown boy was arrested on burglary charges on July 9. Police said he was accused of breaking into a residency on February 26 and arrested at the precinct in Smithtown, said police. According to police, the 17-year-old stole a safe that contained jewelry and cash from a home on Summerset Drive in Smithtown.
