The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents for Dec. 28-Jan. 3.
Smithtown
Andre Machate, 41, of St. James was arrested Jan. 3 in Lake Ronkonkoma and charged with second degree possession of a forged instrument. Machate was allegedly in possession of a forged prescription when he was arrested on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma.

Thomas Heyder, 38, of Tampa, Fl. was arrested Jan. 3 in Head of the Harbor and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate Heyder was pulled over after he was seen driving a 1996 Chevrolet with a flat tire.
Marco Iannelli, 49, of Medford was arrested Jan. 3 in Nesconset and charged with first degree criminal contempt and first offense DWI. He is accused of intentionally breaking a window of a home on Midwood Avenue, where Ronald LaPort, 44, lived. LaPort was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly engaging in a fight.

Gregory Rathjen, 47, of St. James was arrested Jan. 2 in Hauppauge and charged with leaving the scene of property damage. He was arrested at the precinct for allegedly failing to remain at the scene after he was involved in an accident in a 2002 GMC in which a residence was damaged.
Thomas Palumbo, 25, of Central Islip was arrested Jan. 1 in Smithtown and charged with disorderly conduct. Palumbo was arrested for allegedly lying in the middle of the road.
Gregory Pampalone, 19, of East Northport was arrested Dec. 31 in Nesconset and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate he was allegedly driving northbound in a 2011 Hyundai when he lost control of the vehicle and struck two curbs.
Matthew Sheskin, 21, of Nesconset and Thomas Martinez, 37, of St. James were arrested Dec. 31 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Martinez was also charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance. Reports indicate the men were in a 1999 Lexus and in possession of prescription pills without a prescription. Martines allegedly also possessed a hypodermic instrument.
Bryan Cosma, 40, of Lake Grove was arrested Dec. 31 in Nesconset and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate Cosma made an unsafe lane change in a 2011 Ford at the intersection of Route 347 and Alexander Avenue.
Three Village
Thomas Seaton, 45, of Coram, was arrested Jan. 4 at about 9:45 p.m. at and charged with first offense DWI. Seaton was driving near the intersection of Route 25A and Miller Place Road in Miller Place when he struck another vehicle, crushing the leg of a female victim inside. The woman at Stony Brook.
Joseph Ioppolo, 44, of Uniondale, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with second degree criminal trespassing. The victims returned to their Earland Road home in Stony Brook and discovered Ioppolo inside.
Hauppauge

Alexander Geiger, 32, of Holtsville and Mark Allen, 39, of Brentwood were arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. The men are accused of possessing more than a pound of marijuana in a 2001 Honda on Express Drive North in Islandia.
