Driver of Car on Church Street Arouses Suspicion
20-year old girl made uncomfortable by comments shouted by a male driving by.

The mother of a 20-year old Kings Park girl reported to police that her daughter was made uncomfortable by the comments of a man who drove by her on Church Street on Monday afternoon.
According to the police the mother notified them of the incident, which happened at approximately 3:15 p.m. when the driver, described as a white male in his thirties called out to the girl, asking her what she was doing. The young woman then pulled out her cell phone and the man drove off. The car was described as a white sedan.
Kings Park School District Superintendent Dr. Susan Agrsuo made an automated phone call to parents Monday evening to notify them of the incident. Agrsuo, in a phone conversation, said that the mother of the young girl called the school to let them know about the incident. Agruso then phoned police who confirmed that a report was made.

Agruso also said that two other students came forward after they heard about the incident to report that within the last few weeks they had seen a car and driver who was making comments.
“We are working with police. This may be the same guy. We are doing our due diligence, encouraging students to get on the buses and dissuade them from walking,” said Agruso. She also went on to say that track students who run in that area were supervised and that they are required to stay in groups.
