
The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall will be open for viewing 24 hours from October 28th at 6pm until October 30th at 5pm.
The opening ceremony will begin at 6pm on October 28th featuringNorthport Pipe and Drum Band as well as Keynote Speaker, Majo General A. Kropp. There will be a Gold Star Mothers' POW/MIA Remembrance and a performance by the NorthportHigh School Tour Choir. The ceremony will be concluded with a candlelight service at 8pm.
Ceremonies on Saturday October 29th begin at 10am with Keynote Speaker Paul Kelly, Huntington VFW, Women on the Wall by Suffolk Treasurer Angie Carpenter, Civil Air Patrol, Sea Cadets, and the Boy and Girl Scouts' Color Guards.

At 12 noon, there will be a Garden Stone Blessing by Msgt. C. Fink. At 5pm there will be tribute performances by Anita's School of Dance and Theater Arts, followed by Speakers: Huntington Supervisor Frank Petrone, VA Undersecretary for Memorial Affairs Steve L. Muro, Congressman Tim Bishop with a Performance by the Coast Guard Auxiliary Band, Flotilla 22-7 at 6pm. Candlelight Service will begin at 8pm.
On October 30th, there will be a Prayer Service with the Northport High School Tour Choir at 10am. Northport Chorale's Tribute will be at 1pm and Closing Ceremony led by Congressman Steve Israel will begin at 3pm. The closing will include speaker Joan Furey, Anita's School of Dance and Theatre Arts, and "Goodnight Saigon" performed by Mike Delgiudice from the band Big Shot.
