Fourth Annual Slavic Night

Join the Kings Park Heritage Museum for a night of music, dance and performances celebrating Slavic culture and the rich traditions of the East-Central European region.

The Fourth Annual Slavic Night is a free, family-friendly event and will include a medley of accordion songs by musician and composer John Custie; an exciting dance performance by the Kings Park Heritage Folk Dance Troop in full costume; a magical puppet show featuring Slavic heritage fairy tales; and a piano performance by noted performer and master teacher, Stephan Laszlo Garamy.

The Kings Park Heritage Museum will be open before and after the event with free admission. The event is presented by the Kings Park Heritage Museum, and is part of the cultural series the museum offers to the community. Upcoming ‘cultural nights’ include Latino, Hawaiian/Polynesian, Greek and more. Bring your family to enjoy the diverse songs, stories and dance from these fascinating regions and cultures.
