Event Spotlight: KP Girls Basketball Golf Outing
Team looking to raise funds to attend tourney in Florida.
The girls of the Kings Park Varsity Basketball team are not only tough of the court, but generous with their time, working to raise funds for now they hope the community can help them make their dream come true.
The team will be attending a KSA sponsored tournament in Orlando Florida during this year’s Christmas break in the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex.

Coach Tom Edmundson said the opportunity is not to be missed.
“This is a once in a lifetime experience for these girls to travel with their high school team for five nights in Disney. To make this trip a reality we need to raise funds,” said Edmundson.

To help them reach their goal, the team is sponsoring a golf outing at Smithtown Landing on August 13. Individual registration is $225 and includes shot gun start, green fees and carts, longest drive contest, closest to the pin, cocktail hour and dinner.
