Firefighters Rescue Person Trapped In Car After Crash

The person became trapped after the car collided with a State Transportation truck on Friday afternoon.

KINGS PARK, NY - Firefighters rescued a passenger trapped in a car after a crash in Kings Park on Friday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.

A Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Pulaski Road and a NYS Department of Transportation truck was traveling westbound on Main Street when the two cars collided at the intersection at 1 p.m.

A passenger in the Toyota was trapped in the car and Emergency Service Section officers as well as the Kings Park Fire Department extricated the person from the car.

Both drivers and the passenger in the Toyota were transported by the Kings Park Fire Department to Stony Brook University Hospital for minor injuries
