Kings Park Continues Search For Missing Ring

The local resident lost her mother's ring last month but is not losing hope. Have you seen it?

KINGS PARK, NY - A Kings Park woman is continuing her search for her mother's wedding band she lost last month.

On Nov. 26, Jeanette Dipaola lost the ring that she has worn since her mother died in 2015. She last had it at St. Joseph's church on 59 Church Street during Sunday Mass at noon. She then went to the Parish outreach office and then walked a block to her car.

She then drove to the TJ Maxx at 42 Indian Head Road where about half an hour in she noticed the ring was missing.

The ring (pictured above) is described as a wide band gold with rose gold flowers and tiny diamond chips. Most chips are missing and the ring is repaired and worn and not perfectly round anymore.

As of Thursday, Dipaola has not heard anything about her ring but she is not losing hope.

"I don't want to give up," she told Patch.

Anyone who has found the ring can contact Dipaola by email at uhohnets@verizon.net or by phone at 631-804-2037.
