The Kingsmen opened the 2012 football season with an 18-3 win on the road vs. the Islip Buccaneers on Friday night.

Despite dominating the play, Kings Park held a narrow 8-3 lead going into halftime. Senior quarterback Joey Guercio reached the endzone on an option run early in the 3rd quarter to put the Kingsmen ahead 15-3 and they would not look back.

The Kingsmen look to improve to 2-0 on  next Friday at 6 p.m. @ Hauppauge.
