Kings Park High School Senior Named Young Scholar of Mathematics

A Kings Park High School senior has been recognized as one of 78 Long Island students who have been named a Young Scholar of Mathematics by the Institute of Creative Problem Solving for Gifted and Talented Students at SUNY Old Westbury.

Zachary Marcone, was one of about 700 students who competed by submitting an essay along with taking an entrance examination. Selection implies that he ranks amongst the top one-tenth of 1 percent of mathematics students in their grade on Long Island.
