Kings Park Labor Day Weekend Forecast

It's the unofficial last weekend of summer. Will Mother Nature cooperate?

A 90-degree September Thursday will give way to much more comfortable temperatures for Labor Day weekend.

The unofficial last weekend of summer should be just about perfect weather-wise.

Friday will be cloudy and dry, but noticeably cooler with a high near 80 on Long Island, according to the National Weather Service.

High pressure will build over the East Coast this weekend, bringing with it sunny skies through Monday. The high will be near 80 once again on Saturday.

“Saturday will feel refreshing for many across the Northeast with seasonable temperatures and low humidity,” AccuWeather meteorologist Michael Doll says.
