Update: Kings Park Man Arrested in Relation to Brentwood Pool Hall Murder

Police have charged Jeovani Guzman-Hernandez for his alleged role in the June 5 killing.

Update: Police released a mugshot of the man who allegedly played a part in a poolhall murder that resulted in the death of a Brentwood man.

Police arrested a Kings Park man on murder charges Thursday over his alleged role in the killing of a Brentwood man in a June 5 pool hall fight.

Jeovani Guzman-Hernandez will be arraigned Thursday in the First District Court in Central Islip.

Police say Guzman-Hernandez, 26, and Jairon A. Gonzales-Martinez, 23, of Brentwood, killed Rumaldo Bethancourt-Lopez, 29, in a fight outside of the Fiesta Pool Hall in Brentwood.

Bethancourt-Lopez died from a head trauma allegedly sustained during the fight, and Gonzales-Martinez was arrested shortly after the brawl.

Another man, Ramiro Garcia, of Central Islip, was injured in the fight.
