Kings Park Residents To Host Supply Drive For Victims Of Florence
Find out how you can do your part to help the victims of the recent hurricane that hit North Carolina last week.

KINGS PARK, NY - Kings Park residents will be hosting a food and supply drive for the victims of Hurricane Florence in North Carolina on Friday.
Donations can be dropped off between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Key Food parking lot on 66 Indian Head Road in Kings Park.
The residents have secured a 28-foot U Haul and plan to head down this weekend.

The items they will need are as follows:
- Canned food (must be self opening cans or containers): soups, vegetables, spaghetti o’s, meats-anything that can be eaten without being cooked, and can be opened without a can opener.
- Peanut butter, jelly, crackers, pop tarts, snack packs. Cheese and cracker snack packs, dry cereal, etc.
- Plastic spoons and forks, paper towels
- Water- large jugs to small bottles
- Small hand sanitizers, baby wipes, diapers
- Flashlights with batteries in them already
- Small first aid kits
- Dry dog and cat food
- Powdered formula/powdered milk/non refrigerated milk (
Monetary donations are being accepted as well. Checks can be made payable to the Salemburg Christian Food Bank, which is a 501c Non Profit Organization registered with the State of North Carolina.
