The Town's Parks Department will begin demolition work in anticipation of a brand new state-of-the-art playground at Kings Park Memorial, starting on Monday. The new playground will feature a jungle-gym with multiple levels, climbing stations, two slides, and new turf surfacing.

The Kings Park Municipal Parking Lot project earned a $500K Jumpstart from the Suffolk County Executive, which will aid the Town in creating a more pedestrian friendly downtown that supports local business. The funding will build a municipal parking lot in downtown Kings Park just off Pulaski and Main Street.
