Kings Park Round-Up: Roadwork, Renovations & More

KINGS PARK, NY — This week has seen Town of Smithtown employees performing routine Park & Beach maintenance, undertaking major renovations and repairs to the roads, facilities and public amenities, according to the Town.

Here's what residents of Kings Park should know:

As curb work nears completion along Park Avenue, Collins Avenue and Meridian Avenue, the Highway Department is finishing up milling and plans to begin paving work this week. Residents should plan on using alternate routes or allow for additional travel time while roads are being repaired.

New playground equipment will soon be installed at Kings Park Memorial. The Town's Parks Department will begin with the playground surfacing, starting next week.
