Kings Park's Koepplin Signed by Patriots

Former St. Anthony's kicker Chris Koepplin signed as a free agent with the New England Patriots.

Kings Park's Chris Koepplin signed as an undrafted free agent with the NFL's New England Patriots on July 27.

Koepplin, a star kicker at Division-AA UMass from 2006-07, began his college career at Nassau Community College. He spent two seasons with Arena Football 2 and the Manchester Wolves. 

Koepplin competed in soccer, track and football at . He focused solely on kicking as a senior and went 31-for-32 on extra point attempts while helping the Friars win the CHSFL Class AAA title in 2003.
