Long Island Kids are Invited to Get Up-Close to Big Rigs and Other Unique Vehicles at "Touch -A-Truck"
Long Island families have the rare opportunity to climb all over trucks and vehicles that are usually off-limits
Cox Media Group Long Island’s 102.3 WBAB and 106.1 BLI, in conjunction with Smith Haven Mall, are offering Long Island families the rare opportunity to climb all over trucks and vehicles that are usually off-limits.
At WBAB and BLI’s “Touch-A-Truck”, over 50 unique vehicles will be on-site for kids to sit in, climb on and take photos with including Big Rigs, Fire and Rescue Trucks, Police Vehicles, TNT Monster Truck, Cradle of Aviation’s BD-5 Aircraft, Military Vehicles, Construction Equipment and others.
Plus, the event will also feature Food Vendors, Moon Bounces and other inflatable activities, the Long Island Party Xpress Video Game Truck, and much more! During the event, guests at Smith Haven Mall can visit its Simon Kidgits Club and Simon Rewards station, offering a chance to learn more about the respective programs and explore membership opportunities. In addition, a variety of new member premiums will be available to choose from.

Admission to “Touch-A-Truck” is free.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help us STUFF-A-TRUCK for ISLAND HARVEST, Long Island’s largest hunger relief organization, who will be on-site collecting food donations for Long Island’s hungry and homeless.
We know it can get LOUD, so families of children with special needs and Sensitive Ears are invited to avoid the noise by attending our “Horn-Free Hour” from 10am-11am. All the fun of “Touch-A-Truck”, without loud music, horns and sirens.
