Long Island Yarn Crawl

The first annual Long Island Yarn Crawl 2015 will take place:

This self-guided tour of Long Island yarn shops is a great way to see what our local fiber community has to offer and meet other Long Island yarncrafters! Get a group of friends together and pile in the car to hop from shop to shop.

Complete a passport by visiting 12 of the stores and you will be entered to win our grand prize: a $100 gift card from each of the participating stores. Special edition Long Island Yarn Crawl bags are available at participating shops (as supplies allow) for free with a $20 minimum purchase, or on sale for $5. Each store has specials planned and will drawings for door prizes during the crawl, details coming closer to the crawl. Join us knitting for preemies at Winthrop Hospital (Nassau) and Stony Brook (Suffolk). Make a hat or blanket and turn it in at any shop during the weekend of the crawl to be entered into the charity knit drawing. See our charity kit and crochet page for details.
