Man Robs Suffolk County Bank

BREAKING: Police say he fled on foot after the robbery Friday morning.

KINGS PARK, NY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Suffolk County bank Friday morning. According to Suffolk Police, the man entered the Bank of America located at 1209 Saint Johnland Road in Kings Park at about 11:45 a.m..

He displayed a note and verbally demanded cash from a teller, who complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer, police said. The robber then fled on foot.

The robber is described as white, in his late 20s, about 5-foot-6 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, jeans and sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
