Man Wanted For Assault at Smithtown Bar

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who is wanted for an assault at a bar in Smithtown last month.

An employee was outside Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub at 15 East Main St., on May 25 at 3 a.m. when he was punched in the face by a man who fled the scene, police said.

The employee was treated at Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police are also looking to speak to the woman who was with the man during the incident, police said. Both are pictured above.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
