Park Police Join With County's Major Crime Unit in Rape Investigation

According to park police, patrols have been stepped up at the park since the attack.

“We will go wherever the investigation takes us,” said park police Lieutenant John Michta. “The investigation is ongoing,” he said.

According to police, the victim was walking on a bicycle path near Old Dock Road when she was accosted.

The attacker has been described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin, muscular build and blond hair, wearing black gloves.
