Police: Man Wanted For Robbing 3 Banks
Police release photos of man they say robbed three banks in Suffolk County recently.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say robbed three banks in Suffolk County over the past month.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspected robber on Monday. Police say the man entered Chase, located at 991 Main St., Holbrook, and handed a teller a note demanding cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money on May 22 at about 2:25 p.m. On June 6, he entered Citibank, located at 835 Montauk Highway in Bayport, demanded cash and left the bank with money. Four days later, he robbed the Capital One, located at 450 Union Boulevard in West Islip at about 5:55 p.m. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is described as white, in his 40s and about 6-feet tall.

No one was hurt in the any of the robberies.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
