Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a cellphone from a store in Islandia last week.
Police say the man pictured above entered Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, on May 7, at about 5:55 p.m. and stole a customer’s Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone.
The suspect is described as white, and he was wearing a white Y-shirt, tan shorts, dark sneakers and a dark hat.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
