Police Seeking Duo Who Used Stolen Credit Cards in Commack, Bay Shore
The two were caught on video using the stolen credit cards.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the man and woman who used credit cards that were stolen from a car in Commack.
A woman reported that her pocketbook was stolen from her car on Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m., while it was parked in front of the Walmart on 85 Crooked Hill Road, police said.
The handbag contained credit cards and sunglasses, according to police.

Later that day, a man and a woman were caught on video surveillance using the stolen credit cards at Kohl’s in the same shopping plaza on 45 Crooked Hill Road, according to police.
The card was used again at Old Navy at the Gardiner Manor Shopping Center on 880 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, police said.

The two purchased clothing, beach towels and Peanut M&M’s, according to police.
The woman was wearing purple pants and a blue shirt and the man was wearing a black t-shirt with camouflage pants and hat, according to police.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
