Road Closures Announced For Lt. Raguso Funeral Service
Residents are advised to plan according and "to have patience out of respect for the family and friends of Lt. Raguso," officials say.

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY - Officials announced the road closures for the wake and funeral service for New York Air National Guard 106th Rescue Wing Master Sergeant and Commack/FDNY Firefighter Lt. Christopher Raguso this week.
Raguso was one of seven killed after a HH-60 Pave Hawk struck a power line last Thursday.
Visitation for Raguso will take place on both Thursday, Mar. 29 and Friday, Mar. 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Commack Fire Department on 6309 Jericho Turnpike.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, Mar. 31 starting at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church on 59 Church Street in Kings Park.
Town of Smithtown officials warn that traffic is expected to be heavy in both Commack and Kings Park this week.

Traffic is expected to begin at 8 a.m. with road closures starting as early as 9 a.m.
Driver can expect congestion on 25A during the wake and funeral services.
Road closures (open to home owners only) will run along the ceremony route starting at Meadow Road (at Clayton Funeral parlor) to Old Northport Road.
In addition, one lane of Jericho Turnpike will be closed between Valmont Avenue and Commack Road in Commack both days between noon and 10 p.m.
Indian Head Road will be closed between Kings Park Road and Old Dock Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 31. Church Street, portions of Old Dock Road and portions of Route 25A will also be closed.
Residents are advised to plan according and to have patience out of respect for the family and friends of Lt. Raguso.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being collected online to benefit the children of Lt. Raguso via the FDNY Foundation.
