Smithtown's only town-run golf course has raised its course fees for the 2013 season.
Prices for 18 holes a Smithtown Landing Golf and Country Club have risen to $30 a round, up from $29 last year, and $32 on weekends, up from $31, according to Newsday.
Mid-week Junior and senior rates will also jump $1 per round to $21.
Michael Hebron, a PGA Hall of Famer and president the management corp that handles Smithtown Landing, told Newsday the rate hike will net the town an extra $40,000 a year.
