SPCA Helps Mini Pig Find Her Forever Home
The family of the mini pig had to give her up after they discovered they could not keep her in the apartment.

The Suffolk County SPCA helped a mini pig find her forever home this week.
The owners of the 30-pound 8-month-old pig Charlotte contacted the local SPCA on Monday to ask for their help to find her a home after they realized they were unable to keep the pig in their apartment.
Chief Roy Gross picked up Charlotte and kept her until the group found a home for her.

Luckily, it didn't take very long to find Charlotte her forever home. A few days later, the niece of one of the SPCA volunteers agreed to take her in.
"We are delighted that she has found her forever family," the SPCA wrote in a press release. "Charlotte is going to make her new family very happy."
