Kings Park Seniors Receive VFW Voice of Democracy Award
Two high school seniors were recently recognized by the VFW for their participation in contest.
Kings Park High School seniors, Patrick Shea and Tim Colvin recently received the VFW Voice of Democracy Award.
Students compete by writing and recording a broadcast script on an annual patriotic theme.This year's theme was, Is Our Constitution Still Relevant? Shea placed first locally and Colvin, second. The boys were both given certificates for their achievements.
