THIS WEEKEND: 10th Annual Marcie Mazzola Race
Remembering Marcie Mazzola, Whose Memory Makes a Difference to Local Children
WHAT:
Huntington residents and runners from surrounding communities will participate in the 10th Annual Marcie Mazzola Memorial 5K Walk/Run. The event keeps the memory of Commack native, Marcie Mazzola, alive while helping to make a difference in the lives of local children.
Registration is still open to the general public. Participants (ages 12 & up) will traverse five kilometers through the streets of Huntington and around Heckscher Park, while a 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run for ages 10 years old and younger will be held on the grounds of the YMCA. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Huntington YMCA's Summer Camp Scholarship Program to help fund a camp experience for underprivileged children.

Food, beverages and a gift raffle will also be available.
Awards will be presented to the top-three finishers in each age group, as well as to the overall top male and female runner. The overall-top male and female winners will receive an award and a one-year paid membership to the Huntington YMCA.

COST: Adults (18 years and older) $30.00.
Students (12th grade and under) $20.00
Children (10 years old and under) $7
WHEN: Sunday, April 10, 2016
Check-in time for the race and Day of Registration will be from 6:45am - 8:00am. No numbers will be issued after 8:00am.
Kids Fun Run will start promptly at 8:00am.
5K Run / Walk will start promptly at 8:30am.
