Enjoy a day in the city with reduced-rate tickets via the LIRR and The Smithtown Library!
Fee: Non-refundable, non-transferable payment of $10.00 is due at registration by cash or check at one of our
Circulation Desks or with credit card on our website.
Registration: Begins two months prior to trip date and ends at the end of the day on the Thursday one week prior to trip date (April 30). If the minimum requirement of 30 registrants is not met, the library reserves the right to cancel the trip.
Tickets: Starting on the Monday before the trip (May 4), registrants must pick up their tickets at The Smithtown Main Building Circulation Desk.
Day-of-Program Itinerary: Meet a library staff member inside the Smithtown LIRR Station House at 8:45am and
leave on the 9:03am train. Everyone must be in the first carfrom Smithtown and transfer together at Huntington. We will arrive at Penn Station at 10:39am where you will be on your own. Enjoy and leave from Penn before midnight that day!
