18-Year-Old Student Arrested In Off-Campus Assault Of 15-Year-Old Classmate: Police
The victim told police that he was struck multiple times and choked with his own necklace, by the older classmate.

MAMARONECK, NY — An 18-year-old Mamaroenck student has been arrested in connection with the assault of a 15-year-old classmate.
On Friday afternoon, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department received a report from a 15-year-old Mamaroneck High School student who told them that he had been assaulted
by an older classmate off-campus. The victim told police that he was struck multiple times and choked with his own necklace during the altercation.
Investigators found that the victim had cuts, bruising, and a pattern of injuries consistent with being choked with a necklace. Officers requested EMS, and the victim was
taken to Westchester Medical Center.

Investigators positively identified the suspect as an 18-year-old student at Mamaroneck High School.
At 3:07 p.m., officers took the suspect into custody as he was leaving school property.

The suspect was charged with felony assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. The teenage suspect was arraigned in Mamaroneck Village Court and released on $500 bail.
