4.3 Percent Increase Proposed in 2015 Town of Mamaroneck Spending Plan

The town's current full-time head count is slated to remain unchanged at 129 in 2015.

Town of Mamaroneck officials are proposing a $34.24 million spending plan for 2015, up 4.26 percent from the current year’s allocation, according to documents recently released by the town.

Staff salaries make up the largest portion of the budget, but the town’s current full-time head count is slated to remain unchanged at 129 in 2015, which results in a proposed expenditure of $13.52 million, an increase of 1.8 percent over 2014.

Contractual expenses, such as the town’s utility bills and operating costs, could see an increase overall of about 4 percent for 2015 to $9.26 million, driven in part by a 10 percent jump in liability insurance.
