Add Food Truck to Walter's Hot Dog Stand Delights

Walter’s Hot Dog Stand, the popular institution on Palmer Avenue in Mamaroneck, is taking it on the road.

The eatery has just received delivery of a new a food truck that it intends to roll out around Westchester at various private events, festivals and farmers markets, reports The Journal News. The truck will feature virtually the same menu of hot dogs and other delicious fare.

Designing the truck took six months, Katharine Warrington Woodward, great-granddaughter of the founder, told The Journal News. “We wanted every element of Walter’s to be on it. We tried to do the business justice.”
