On Saturday evening, officers responded to an alarm at Picone's Sausage and Wholesale Meats, on the Jefferson Avenue Extension. At the scene, officers discovered damaged glass at the business entrance. A witness told police they saw someone strike the glass before fleeing when the alarm
sounded.

In this case, the suspect fled before entering the business, according to police.

Later that evening, officers responded to Los Primos, on Old White Plains Road, following a report of an attempted burglary. Witness accounts and surveillance footage showed a person attempting to break the front glass door with a brick before leaving the area.

Again in this case, police said, the suspect didn't enter the business, and nothing was reported stolen.

On Sunday morning, officers responded to Mamaroneck Body Works, on Old White Plains Road, after employees discovered damage to the business entrance.

Detectives found that a suspect had broken the glass door and entered the business the previous evening. Patrol officers and detectives interviewed witnesses, reviewed surveillance footage, collected evidence, and canvassed the area.

That investigation led to the identification of a suspect.

On Monday morning, detectives from the Investigations Division located and arrested the suspect, who was identified as David Vogt.

He was charged with felony burglary and two counts of felony attempted burglary.

"[Vogt] was processed and is currently being held pending his arraignment," the department said in a statement. "The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department thanks the witnesses and business owners whose cooperation assisted with these investigations."
