Armenian Princess Discusses Plans For New TV Show, Book Sales in U.S.
H.R.H. Princess Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian spoke to Patch at the Voracious Reader in Larchmont last week.
A bestselling author of the Tara Duncan series in France with royal lineage—she is heir to the Armenian throne—H.R.H. Princess Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian appeared at the Voracious Reader in Larchmont last Friday to introduce herself to an American audience.
Both Princess Sophie and her daughter, Princess Marine, an aspiring pop star, will soon be moving to the U.S. to star in new reality show called Armenian Princesses (the Princess couldn't reveal what network the show would appear on) a and is in discussions to make her Tara Duncan series of books into a movie.

"Some said you can't make a movie with a female lead character," said Princess Sophie, who was told successful female leads were often portrayed as having more aggressive, masculine qualities.
"I'm here to fight," she said, about her determination to fully actualize Tara Duncan as a strong female character.
