Breakfast Discussion Focused on Mamaroneck, Rye Neck Schools

MAMARONECK, NY - The state of the Mamaroneck and Rye Neck schools will be the subject of a breakfast discussion Tuesday, March 15.

Dr. Robert Shaps, the Mamaroneck Union Free School district superintendent, and Dr. Peter Mustich, the Rye Neck School District superindent, will provide attendees updates on their respective schools.

The breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. at the Nautilus Diner, 1240 W. Boston Post Rd.

Topics of discussion will include the impact of the 2 percent tax levy cap, Common Core standards, how population of the districts is changing, current status of budget talks and new initiatives.

There is an $8 charge for breakfast at the event which will last until 9 a.m.
